The violinist Cora Catrina Stiehler, born in Romania, began her studies with Prof. Stefan Gheorghiu and Prof. Florin Croitoru, in Bucharest, and continued with Prof. Jan Pospichal in Vienna and Prof. Silvia Marcovici in Graz. She has participated in the Mahler Academy masterclasses and worked with Friedemann Eichhorn, Rainer Kussmaul and Christian Altenburger. Her orchestral experience includes the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra, the Bochumer Symphoniker and the Bad Reichenhaller Philharmonie, where she was the assistent concertmaster. As a member of the Tyrolian Festival Erl orchestra she performed as a soloist in Romania, Korea and Hungary. Between 2014-2018 Cora Stiehler was member of the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg. She also performed with Musiciens du Louvre, Gärtnerplatztheater Munich and Camerata Salzburg and Bruckner Orchestra Linz. Currently she is a member of the Bayreuth Festival Orchestra and has concerts with the Frankfurt HR Radio Symphony.

Mrs. Stiehler is a dedicated chamber musician and performs with the Aroc Quartett the Senicky String Quartett, and the MozARTE Quintett Salzburg.
